Croad Langshan

Origin: The bird takes its name from Langshan in China, from where it was imported by Major Croad in 1872.
 
Characteristics: It is a very docile but elegant breed. The males can achieve weights of up to 9lbs or 4.1kg. The Croad Langshan is also renowned for it’s wonderful beetle green sheen to it’s black feathers. Females are very good sitters.
