Origin: The Lakenvelder originated in Germany and were brought to the UK by dedicated English breeders striving to maintain their striking plumage which is impressive but very hard to achieve.

Hatching eggs can also be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, packed in purpose made polystyrene boxes at the postage cost of £6 per half dozen.
