Poland

The Poland originated in Europe before the sixteenth century. It was once known for good egg laying but is now almost solely and ornamental fowl. Most people agree that the name Poland derives from the large Pol on top of the head, rather than the country of origin.

Characteristics: Inquisitive, spritely birds.

Hatching eggs can also be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, packed in purpose made polystyrene boxes at the postage cost of £6 per half dozen.

We cannot guarantee hatch rate once eggs have been through the postal system. Please contact us for more information.
