Wyandotte
Origin: Wyandottes originate from America although there are still uncertainties as to which breeds were used to create the Wyandotte, they were first known to exist in the mid nineteenth century.
Characteristics: The Wyandotte is a very docile bird, the hens make excellent broodies and mothers, the chicks mature quickly and are hardy.

Hatching eggs can also be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, packed in purpose made polystyrene boxes at the postage cost of £6 per half dozen.
